Jolinaiko advises you to consider private car rental for safety reasons, flexibility and comfort. The following cars are available for our tours and can be rented with a driver: 1x Landrover Defender, 1x Landrover Discovery, 5x Nissan Patrol, 1x Mitsubishi Pajero, 1x Chevrolet Tracker, 1x Toyota Sienna, 2x Toyota Hiace mini-van and Toyota Coastal busses and large touring busses on request. The Landrovers are great cars for our adventurous trips through Ghana. These jeeps offer enough space for groups up to four people, plus driver and guide, and all luggage pieces. A Landrover Defender is a very powerful car and highly suitable for the African landscape and road conditions. However, they are less comfortable than the Mitsubishi Pajero, Nissan Patrols and Chevrolet Tracker. Also, the Landrovers don't have airconditioning. The mini vans are especially suited for small groups of more than 4 persons. The Coastal busses we use for large group tours.

Through Apollo’s professionalism, excellent conversation, courtesy, open mindedness, tolerance and enthusiasm I was able to learn and live Africa more so than many of my other trips combined. Africa is no longer a distant place on a map, or a show on T.V. but many faces, smiles, songs, smells, colors and friends to me. Travel needs to be experienced in this way.
